Sardines mimic dolphin

This photo was taken by Steve De Neef, 29, who spotted this remarkable moment while diving in Cebu. Although small, sardines have their own way to scare off potential predators. A huge group of sardines – probably tens of thousands of them – was recently seen mimicking a hugh dolphin in the sea off Philippines. Fish are known to stick together like this for protection, but it was just coincidence that they formed a shape resembling a dolphin.
