That's exactly what 23-year-old Mich Kemeter does, similar to tightrope walking, but the rope is loose and bouncy, instead of taut, and elevated at extreme locations. He decided to highline without a harness at Yosemite National Park at 3,000 feet above ground. Kemeter walked 82 feet of rope three times with a safety harness attached to his ankle; he removed it on his fourth time. Midway through the walk, he even knelt to pray. Kemeter holds a number of world records, including walking on a 525-foot rope 25 feet above a freezing-cold lake in Austria.
